Nelson/Tasman

Shed Building Specialists Ltd - Operating in the Nelson/Tasman area as an independent franchised operator of The Shed Specialists Co.

Lynn and Shane Nesbit were the first independent franchise operators. They initially looked after the Marlborough/Kaikoura area and are now in charge of Nelson/Tasman.

They are locals and became interested in the unique service that our company provides after looking for a business to run and call their own. They liked the idea of providing cost-effective but quality shed builds to farmers and the local community, of which they were active. After some research and discussions with Aaron from The Shed Specialists Co., they decided to run their own The Shed Specialists Co franchised business and never looked back.

Lynn and Shane are very passionate about helping their clients with their projects! They have a desire and a drive to run the business as best as possible and make it successful.

Marlborough/Kaikoura

Beckbury Building Ltd - Operating in the Marlborough/Kaikoura as an independent franchised operator of The Shed Specialists Co.

George Westenra has grown up and lives rurally in the Awatere with a young family, which is a nice central location for Marlborough/Kaikoura. 

George has 5 years of carpenter experience and 5 years of quantity surveyor experience. For the last 6 years, he has also been running a sheep scanning business. We are pleased to have such an experienced and skilful franchisee working in the area.

Marr Construction Ltd - Operating in North-East Otago as an independent franchised operator of The Shed Specialists Co.

After 18 years in the police, most of that time as a skilled Dog Handler, Andrew Marr successfully transitioned into the construction industry, where he has spent the past decade honing his craft. A qualified builder, Andrew has worked across various projects, from new builds to complex renovations, always focused on delivering high-quality results at a fair price.

Outside of work, he’s actively involved in coaching and administrating table tennis in the community and enjoys going on hunts when time permits. He’s a proud husband and father of four, and he’s now excited to take the next step—working for himself and building a reputation for quality, reliability, and down-to-earth service.

Southland

Lott Ventures Ltd - Operating in the Southland as an independent franchised operator of The Shed Specialists Co.

Jordan Lott and his family are based out of Gore, a pretty central spot for providing to the entire Southland region. Jordan's background is in landscaping and horticulture, so he found a lot of transferable skills in switching over to shed building. 

The process of setting up his own business was extended with a few roadblocks in the way, but nothing that couldn't be conquered with the support and creative solutions from the The Shed Specialists Co. and Aaron. 

Jordan has really enjoyed being self-employed and the freedom that comes with having the backing of a franchise model to provide support while starting a new business.
